Buckaroo Celebrates Women with NAWBO-Indianapolis
[INDIANAPOLIS, IN - December 16, 2011] - As a woman-owned and WBE (Women Business Enterprise) certified company, Buckaroo Marketing | New Media understands the impact, the influence and the power of women in the marketplace.
When the National Association of Women Business Owners – Indianapolis Chapter (NAWBO-Indy) wanted to revitalize and rebrand their annual awards luncheon, they turned to Deborah Daily, active chapter member (since 2006) and Buckaroo CEO/President (since 1999) for assistance.
With event attendees such as: Governor Mitch Daniels, Mayor Greg Ballard, NAWBO National President and CEO, Diane Leneghan Tomb, NAWBO National Chair, Evelyn Strange, NAWBO National Board Member, Billie Dragoo, state senators and representatives, area dignitaries and Legacy Keynote Speaker, Jackie Joyner-Kersee the NAWBO-Indianapolis Chapter (3rd largest in the nation) tapped into local talent and expertise.
"Over the years, I’ve actively participated on numerous NAWBO-Indy committees with great success, so I was thrilled by the opportunity to have a deeper involvement in the 8th annual awards luncheon," Daily said.
The Buckaroo team started by creating a permanent event brand and identity for " Celebrating Women: Our Legacy." Next, Buckaroo designed a strong and eye-popping concept for the event’s signage and 56-page print program whose theme was carried across all marketing channels.
Inspired by the strong and successful women who make-up the more than 240 members of NAWBO-Indy, Buckaroo created a bold silhouette of a professional business woman filled with an entrepreneurial spirit contrasted against the Indianapolis skyline. The cityscape also subtly highlighted the location of the event, the newly constructed JW Marriott of downtown Indianapolis.
With more than 1000 in attendance honoring the area’s most talented women, the end result was a beautifully unified appearance to match the unified strength of women-owned businesses throughout the state of Indiana.
